The 8th graders in Mrs. De Keukelaere’s 3rd period science class at WTB created a Gingerbread house of the Energy Pyramid with the trophic levels and depicted how energy is transferred from the sun and then recycled by the decomposers- notice the mushrooms on the side! #ELGingerneering

The 8th graders in Mrs. De Keukelaere’s 5th period science class at WTB took inspiration from the Hunga Tonga–Hunga Haʻapai eruption when they built this edible model. The nearly four week long eruption reached a height of 35 miles above sea level, which was the highest plume of steam and ash in recorded history. In just 2 ½ days, these students created this edible tribute to this incredibly groundbreaking scientific event. #ELGingerneering
